Book Harvest's 15th Annual Dream Big Celebration will be on MLK Day, January 19, 2026
Boxyard RTP
900 Park Offices Dr.,
Durham, NC
Every year we honor MLK Jr. by celebrating the power of community and our big dream of books and literacy for all kids with our biggest event of the year: Dream Big! The celebration is part book drive, part volunteer event, part community partner fair, part festival, and all party and fun!

Run a Dream Big Book Drive
Are you interested in collecting books for Book Harvest's 15th annual Dream Big Book Drive? You can have a traditional drive, an online drive, or a mix of both! All books donated between December 1, 2025 through January 31, 2026 will count toward our Dream Big Book Drive total. Sign up today!
A book drive is a terrific service project for schools, workplaces, congregations, civic groups, neighborhoods, book clubs, and scout troops.
Book Harvest gladly accepts new and gently used children’s books for young readers ages 0-18. We especially love donations of board books, picture books, Spanish and bilingual books, and books that portray ALL children, honoring diverse backgrounds, languages, abilities, and perspectives, and including stories by and about people of color.
