Go Local

By Rodrigo Dinsmore, Pastor for Gospel Mission at Chapel Hill Bible Church

Go Local. That is our resounding theme for the year as we seek to be a church that exists for the good of the Triangle. We love our cities, our schools and our children. We seek the welfare of our cities knowing that in doing so we will benefit as well. And what better way to do that than to invest in the lives of countless children in our communities.

Through our partnership with Book Harvest our congregation enthusiastically responded to the call of providing age appropriate books for children who would otherwise not have them at home. In a period of only three weeks we were able to collect almost 5,000 books for Book Harvest, raise awareness in our church of summer reading loss, and better connect our people with what is happening in our communities.
