Got FOMO? Don’t miss this list.

Dream Big 2020 is SOON: January 20, 2020, at Rhythms Live Music Hall (in the Lakewood Shopping Center at 2020 Chapel Hill Rd.)! That’s just two months away!

If you haven’t been keeping up, don’t worry: there’s still time to make sure you don’t miss out. Here are all the things you can do to be part of the big day:

#1: Become a sponsor! Does your business or organization want to demonstrate your commitment to our community’s kids and families — all while getting your name and logo in front of a LOT of people? You’re not too late to sign on as a Dream Big sponsor! 42 fabulous sponsors have already signed on, and we’d love to add your logo to this fast-growing list. But don’t wait too much longer — our deadline to make sure you receive all your sponsor perks is December 1!

#2: Run a book drive! Now is the time to start collecting books, and this year it’s easier than ever. Use our simple book drive toolkit to start rounding up books from your neighbors, coworkers, friends, teammates…the possibilities are endless! Maybe plan a holiday book drive at your office. Or a post-holidays clean-out-your-kids’-bookshelves party with your congregation. Or a service project with your teen’s sports team. Maybe a donation bin at your gym? It’s fun and easy, and you can bring your books to Dream Big or even drop them off at our office ahead of time. Set a goal — 50 books? 100? 1,000? 5,000? — and then dream big and see if you can surpass your goal!

#3: Mark your calendar! First of all, make sure you’ve noted our brand-new, totally awesome, INDOOR location: Rhythms Live Music Hall in the Lakewood Shopping Center. Do you know where the Scrap Exchange is? If so, you know where Rhythms is, too! It’s sandwiched right between The Scrap Exchange store and the Scrap Thrift Store.

And speaking of the Scrap Exchange, they’ll be at Dream Big with all the things your crafty little kids’ hearts desire! Other things you won’t want to miss? Photos with favorite mascots, face painting, free popcorn from Mad Popper, a photobooth, the Bouncing Bulldogs, the Poetry Fox, and of course, FREE BOOKS! Plus more plans to come, so you’ll have to stay tuned. RSVP to our Facebook event to make sure you don’t miss any announcements — and then invite your friends!
