As I reflect on the past year, my thoughts and eyes keep wandering to the basket that sits in the Book Harvest office. The basket is brimming with joyful, colorful
notes from kids who harvested books this year. Notes like this one from Nayel:

Nayel's words keep our team moving toward our big dream of books for every child, support for every parent, and literacy for every community.
Thank you for being part of our community, and for helping Book Harvest amplify the voices of children -- voices that are filled with book joy. Together we are singing from the rooftops that literacy starts at birth, at home, powered by parents and nourished with books! Our growing chorus is being heard — our hard work is paying off. But we will not stop until every community sings with us; until every home is filled with the sounds of book joy.
