Our Dream Big Book Drive on MLK Day is just a month away…and that means it’s time to sign up to volunteer!
If you’ve been part of the Dream Big Book Drive in the past, you know that the volunteer slots fill up very quickly, so make sure you sign up before it’s too late. If you haven’t joined us before, this is the year to do it! We have moved the event to Durham Central Park so we’ll have more room than ever for all the festivities: live music, food, mascots, and thousands and thousands of books to sort!
WHO: You, your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors–anyone who wants to make an impact on the local community and celebrate the dream of books for all children
WHEN: MLK Day, January 18, 2016 1-4 p.m.
WHERE: Durham Central Park, 501 Foster Street
And don’t forget that we need you to collect books now to help us make our event a success! Please help us by running a book drive at your school, workplace, neighborhood, civic group…or even just cleaning out your children’s bookshelves at home!
