We’re just a few days away from our biggest summer event EVER: the Summer Reading Road Trip with our friends from Scholastic! Here are all the details you need to make sure you don’t miss the big day:
WHO: YOU! All families are welcome to this totally FREE, totally AWESOME summer learning celebration. Children ages 0-12 especially will find activities and books that are just right for them.
WHO ELSE? Clifford the Big Red Dog, Geronimo Stilton, and Dog Man are coming, too!
WHAT: A great big party featuring FREE activities, FREE games and prizes, FREE character meet-and-greet photo opportunities…and of course, lots and lots of FREE books for all kids!
WHERE: Burton Elementary School, 1500 Mathison St., Durham, NC 27701 (in the parking lot on the side of the building, or in the gym in case of bad weather)
WHEN: Monday, July 16, 5 – 7 p.m.
WHY: Because summer is a GREAT time to keep kids’ reading skills sharp in super FUN ways!
