Caitlin Georgas

Senior Associate Director of Early Literacy

Caitlin Georgas directs the strategic growth and effective delivery of Book Harvest's Early Literacy programs, including Book Babies, Bright Futures, and Bridge to School. Her extensive background in social work and home visiting has equipped her with strong skills in program management, data analysis, and community engagement. Caitlin is committed to fostering strong family engagement and achieving ambitious program goals through data-informed decision-making and collaborative partnerships.

With over 15 years of experience as a social worker and home visitor, including roles at The Center for Child and Family Health and Orange County Department of Social Services, Caitlin brings a wealth of expertise in program management, community partnership building, and data-driven program improvement. She grew up in Oklahoma and got her Bachelor of Social Work from TCU and her Master of Social Work from the University of Texas in Arlington.

Caitlin lives in Durham with her husband, two kids, and two cats. She enjoys playing games with her kids, reading, and trying new restaurants. Her favorite children’s book currently is Click Clack Moo, Cows that Type by Doreen Cronin.
