Emma attended Mississippi University for Women, where she earned Bachelor’s degrees in History and English, with a concentration in Creative Writing.

After college, she worked for the Columbus Arts Council as an Administrative Assistant/Artist Coordinator.

She is excited to work with Book Harvest not only because of her fondness for books and reading, but also because she believes in the power of literacy. Her favorite children’s book is "The Kissing Hand" by Audrey Penn.
