Frida Daniels Sanchez

Senior Coordinator, Book Babies
Start date: July 2023

Frida Daniels (she/her) brings a unique blend of international experience and a deep commitment to early childhood development to her role as Senior Book Babies Coordinator at Book Harvest. Originally from Calabozo, Venezuela, where she worked for over a decade as a Certified Public Accountant and independent real estate agent, Frida transitioned to early childhood education after emigrating to the US, working at Forest View Elementary School in Durham as a kindergarten instructional assistant.

Since joining Book Harvest in 2023, Frida has become a vital link between the Book Babies program and the community. She leverages her experience in managing complex projects to provide exceptional support and partnership. In Spanish and English, Frida manages communication with families, coordinates community events, manages referrals, and oversees partnerships with local organizations.

Frida is team-oriented, service-driven, and passionate about working with children and families. Her favorite children's book is The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson, illustrated by Axel Schleffler, which she loves to read with her son.
