Jillian Buckley (she/her) brings a unique blend of experience in publishing, social work, and research to her role as Program Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO at Book Harvest. Following six years as a book editor, Jillian pivoted to social work, earning her MSW from NC State University in 2024. Her internship with the Orange County Rape Crisis Center honed her skills in research, communication, and collaboration within the non-profit sector. Leveraging her organizational expertise and passion for storytelling, Jillian is also manages Book Harvest's Books in a Box program, while providing comprehensive administrative and research support to the CEO.

Jillian lives in Chapel Hill with her husband, their toddler, and their dog. Her favorite children's books, currently, are Julián is a Mermaid by Jessica Love and Buffalo Fluffalo by Bess Kalb.
