Phoebe Craft

Community Engagement Coordinator
Start Date: September 2023

As Community Engagement Coordinator, Phoebe Craft (she/her) ensures abundant and equitable access to free and culturally inclusive books for every family across Durham county. She is responsible for all of our Book Hubs in Durham as well as our StoryWalks and other community programs.

Phoebe Craft has completed her Bachelor's of Science in Public Health at Appalachian State University, with a focus on nutrition, behavioral health, and intervention. Her interest and love for community engagement brought her to Book Harvest as an AmeriCorps intern. During her time as an intern, she successfully established partnerships with various organizations to enhance community outreach. Phoebe is certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid and Social & Behavioral Research.

Her favorite children's book is The Wump World by Bill Peet.
