Ranita Dawkins
Associate Director of Data and Evaluation
Ranita Dawkins (she/her) is the Associate Director of Data and Evaluation at Book Harvest, where she plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing data strategies that measure the impact of the organization’s programs. Since joining in December 2021, Ranita has led the development of equitable data collection tools, ensuring that both qualitative and quantitative insights drive organizational decision-making.
With a Doctorate in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from The Ohio State University, and over 12 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist, Ranita brings a wealth of expertise in research and data management that equip her uniquely for improving outcomes for children and families.
Ranita is passionate about community involvement, holding active memberships in organizations such as the Environmental Educators of North Carolina and the National Black Speech-Language Hearing Association. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and gardening, as well as indoor pursuits like breadmaking and solving jigsaw puzzles.
