Smrithi Swaminathan

Talent Specialist
Smrithi Swaminathan joined Book Harvest in November 2023 as Talent Specialist, where she plays a key role in supporting the recruitment process, onboarding, and fostering an inclusive, engaging culture. She collaborates with hiring managers to attract diverse talent, ensures an equitable candidate experience, and stewards new employees through their transition into the organization. Driven by a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Smrithi champions a community of diverse thinkers in our workplace, contributing to a culture of empathy that is the foundation for a more connected and inclusive world.

Smrithi holds a Masters in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and brings nearly nine years of prior experience as an HR specialist, consultant, and creative editor.

Outside of work, Smrithi enjoys reading non-fiction books, practicing yoga, and savoring a well-made, extra hot cappuccino. Her favorite children’s books are All the World by Liz Garton Scanlon and The Wonderful Things You Will Be by Emily Winfield Martin.
