Role at Book Harvest: Parker provides support for our Book Access Team and Book Babies Team, assisting with program initiatives and outreach.

Likes & Loves: Parker enjoys learning languages, traveling, plant shopping, and spending time with friends and family.

Community Involvement: Americorps and LiteracyCorps with Duke University

What He Studied: Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary European Studies and Peace, War, and Defense from UNC-Chapel Hill

Experience: Four years volunteer experience working with non-profits in North Carolina. Two years working at a book store.

What he’s hopeful for: That access to books will provide a perspective to children that they haven’t encountered before, creating inclusive, diverse, and accepting spaces.
